GoDonateMe

Privacy policy

We only collect what we need for the service, payouts, the law and security. We do not sell personal data.

1. Data controller

The controller is the Contractor under the Public Offer: the administration of the GoDonateMe platform. Privacy questions: support@godonate.me.

2. What we process

  • Creator account: email, username, technical IDs — sign-up, sign-in, contact and legal notices.
  • Google sign-in (OAuth): email, name, public profile fields and OpenID — the email, profile, openid scopes. We never get your Google password, contacts or files.
  • YouTube sign-in and channel linking (Google OAuth, youtube.readonly scope): your channel ID, title, handle (@name) and avatar, plus the Google account email and name. Used so you can sign in with YouTube and see your channel in the dashboard. Read-only access: we never post, change or delete anything on your channel.
  • Twitch sign-in and linking (OAuth, user:read:email scope): Twitch user ID, login, display name, avatar and email.
  • Kick sign-in and linking (OAuth, user:read, channel:read scopes): Kick user ID, name, channel address, avatar and email.
  • Telegram sign-in and linking (Telegram Login): Telegram user ID, the first and last name from your Telegram profile, your @username (if set) and a link to your profile photo. We never get your phone number, contacts or chats; Telegram does not share an email.
  • Payouts: USDT wallet address and network.
  • Payments and Alerts: amount, number of Baits, payment method, status, date and time, operation IDs — performing the agreement, accounting, refunds, disputes.
  • Alert fields: the Viewer’s name (nick) and message — shown to the Creator and used for TTS if enabled.
  • Technical data: IP, logs, cookies, device and browser — security, fraud prevention, running the service.
  • KYC: documents and details required by AML/CFT and the law, if we ask for identification.

Google, YouTube, Twitch, Kick and Telegram data

We receive data from these services once — when you sign in or link an account, with your consent in the service’s own prompt. We do not store access or refresh tokens afterwards: we keep only the ID, name and address of the channel or profile, the avatar and the email (if the service provides one). Telegram issues no access tokens at all: the sign-in signature is verified once and not stored.

The platform uses YouTube API Services. By linking YouTube you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service; Google processes data under the Google Privacy Policy.

GoDonateMe’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising or share it with third parties except where the law requires.

You can revoke access at any time: in the GoDonateMe dashboard under “Sign-in methods” (the “Disconnect” button), which deletes the stored channel data, and in the service itself — for Google, on the third-party apps with account access page.

What your donation page shows

The Creator’s email and first and last name are never shown on the donation page. Viewers see the page’s username instead of a name.

Links to linked Twitch, Kick, YouTube and Telegram accounts, the live status and the stream title are hidden by default. The Creator can show them in the dashboard under “Account” → “Privacy”. By turning a switch on, the Creator consents to this personal data being made public — it becomes available to anyone who opens the donation page:

  • for each enabled platform, a link to the channel or profile and its display name. For Telegram that is your @username and the name from your Telegram profile, which may be your first and last name;
  • with “Stream title” on, the title of the current or last stream on the platforms shown.

You can withdraw consent at any time by turning the switch off: the data disappears from the donation page right away. Unlinking a platform under “Sign-in methods” also removes it from the page.

3. Why we process it

  • performing the agreement: selling Baits, triggering Alerts, paying Creator Rewards;
  • identification and account security;
  • legal duties, including AML/CFT, tax and accounting;
  • service and legal notices;
  • fraud prevention, refunds and disputes.

4. Emails

We email the account about payouts, statuses and security. Marketing only with a separate opt-in.

5. Who we share with

  • the SkinsBack Partner — only when paying with in-game items, to the extent needed for the item trade and valuation;
  • the Heleket Partner — to accept crypto payments and to convert and pay out Creator Rewards in USDT;
  • AML/CFT vendors;
  • public authorities — when the law requires it;
  • technical contractors — only as needed and under confidentiality;
  • Google LLC — for OAuth; we only receive what you approve in Google’s prompt.
  • Twitch Interactive, Inc. and Kick Streaming Pty Ltd — only for sign-in and account linking; we only receive what you approve in the service’s prompt.
  • Telegram — only for sign-in and account linking; we only receive what you approve in Telegram’s prompt;
  • donation page visitors — only the channel links and stream title the Creator turned on under “Privacy” (see section 2).

We do not share or sell personal data to ad networks.

6. Retention

We keep data as long as the purpose and the law require (AML, accounting, tax), then delete or anonymise it.

7. Your rights

You may request access, correction, blocking or deletion of your data, or withdraw consent, subject to the law. Email support@godonate.me.

8. Cookies

We use cookies for the session, security and basic analytics. Turning them off may break parts of the product.

9. Changes
