First steps after signing up

Username, avatar, sign-in protection, the OBS widget and a wallet — what to do on day one.

The dashboard Overview has a "Getting started" card that walks through the steps and ticks off the ones you have done. Here they are in order.

1. Pick a username. Account → General. The username is your page address: godonate.me/<username>.
2. Upload an avatar. Same place. Viewers recognise you on the checkout page.
3. Turn on two-factor protection. Account → Security. More — Two-factor protection.
4. Add alerts to OBS. Widgets → Your widgets → copy the link and add it to OBS as a Browser source. More — Adding alerts to OBS.
5. Test an alert. The Test alert button in Widgets shows a sample Alert in OBS.
6. Set up your page. My page → Amounts: the minimum — the quick amounts on the form follow from it.
7. Add a payout wallet. The Payouts section.
8. Share the link to your page in the channel description and in chat.

A cover image is optional: without one, the header shows a pattern made from your username.
